Y’all, I am on a smoothie KICK! And I’m trying to get more FP & E’s (low fat/good carbs). But smoothies have to taste good for me to want to eat it…
My kids & husband were having cinnamon rolls… the smell was heavenly. I had to come up with something close to this to satisfy my cinnamon roll craving. THIS HIT THE SPOT!
AND I am so excited about this one because it is an E… I used old fashioned oats to give it that yeasty taste. It worked perfectly for the “roll” flavor.
And the cinnamon swirl in this smoothie is so good! I almost called this a Oatmeal Cookie Smoothie because it tastes a lot like an oatmeal cookie too! Either way, it’s a win win for me!
My kiddos loved it too! For me, if my kids love a smoothie, that’s a big deal! I used the THM Gentle Sweet (xylitol-free) as the sweetener. If you have a favorite sweetener, use that. But this one is my favorite!
PS. If you want to add more protein into it, add a scoop of THM WHEY or THM Integral Collagen.

Description
My low fat twist on a cinnamon roll as a smoothie!
Ingredients
Cinnamon Roll Smoothie-
2 cups of ice
1/2 cup of 1 or 2% Daisy’s Cottage Cheese ( I like Daisy’s because it doesn’t have junk ingredients.)
1/2 cups unsweetened cashew milk or almond milk
2 big tbsps. of THM Gentle Sweet (or your favorite sweetener)
1/3 cup of dry old fashioned oats (I use Trader Joe’s Gluten-free Oats)
1 tsp of vanilla
pinch of salt
Cinnamon Sweetener filling/topping:
1 tbsp. of THM Gentle Sweet (or your favorite sweetener)
1 tbsp. of cinnamon
pinch of salt
**If you would like it to have more protein add a scoop of THM Whey Protein or THM Integral Collagen
Instructions
Mix the cinnamon filling/topping (the cinnamon, sweetener, and salt) in a bowl.
Set aside.
Put all smoothie ingredients, including dry oatmeal, into the blender and mix well.
Pour half into a big mason jar and spread half of the cinnamon filling in it.
Pour the remaining smoothie in the jar.
Add the rest of the cinnamon topping on top.
Or if you prefer… just mix both the smoothie and cinnamon filling/topping together.
ENJOY!
