Could a small amount of this recipe be used over FP or E salads? It only has a half a cup of oil.
Sarah says
It would have to be like a really really small amount… probably no more than 1-2 teaspoons.
Nora Roland says
I reduce the oil by 1/3 and add water and a little gluccie for the difference…

Hi!I miss going to arby,s for their beef’ncheddar. The sauce on it always tastes like Catalina dressing to me. I was wondering if I could possibly use your dressing on beef and cheddar with this salad?
Sarah Criddle says
OH yum… that’s a great idea!!

What can be used in place of red wine vinegar?
Sarah says
hmmm… maybe straight vinegar… it just won’t have the same taste.

I love this dressing!!! I used it on a spinach salad and it was delicious!!! I used olive oil and didn’t have any onion powder, so I used onion flakes and mixed it well with my Ninja. Since I’m the only one in my house eating it, I had plenty left over. I’d mixed it using my smallest Ninja container and just stored it in the fridge in that. I’ve found that it does thicken up quite a bit after refrigeration, but I just mixed it up again for about 3 or 4 minutes and it thinned it perfectly. And….It’s even better after having been in the fridge a few days! It’s my new favorite salad dressing!!
