This was a quick throw-together meal that I LOVED!! Reminded me of the beef & broccoli stir fry at my favorite Chinese restaurant! Except this one doesn’t have all the sugar & processed sauces in it! AND the even better new… it’s a ONE POT MEAL!!!
I started by heating up a little oil in my Wok… (I did use Sesama Seed Oil… I am not exactly sure if that is ok on THM but you could replace that with coconut oil or red palm oil which I will do next time). If you are wondering what Trim Healthy Mama (THM) you can find out at www.trimhealthymama.com
I had a couple frozen steaks that I thawed up by putting in really hot water and then when they were thawed enough for me to cut up, I sliced and added to the heated oil.
I cooked the meat up till almost done. Then the next part is super easy… I added frozen veggies. Broccoli and veggie medley.
Then I added my “Sauce”! Allowed to cook up until the veggies are tender. And you are finished! That is all! Simple & easy… few ingredients too!

I am SO happy tonight!!! I have been on-plan since the start of the new year, and it is difficult sometimes because my husband and I are empty-nesters, and he is not on-plan. I’m doing fine for breakfast and lunch when it is just me, but dinner was going to be an issue, if I hoped to do this long term. I made this recipe tonight, and my husband loved it, asked for seconds, and said he would eat it again!!! THANK YOU!!! ☺️

This is the most amazing meal I have ever had. I have been craving Chinese food for a week. With being pregnant I choose not to eat out for fear of food poisoning. and this 100% hit the spot! even my picky 6yo has gone back for seconds. Thank you so much!

I plan on doing this tonight with one sirloin steak and then at the very end I can add in the leftover roast that turned out too dry. 😉 (Learned that rump roast isn’t the best choice for Sunday dinner as it normally turns out dry! ) I plan on adding extra minced mushrooms, and Japanese Veggie Blend (that’s the only one I can find in the freezer section of the store that doesn’t have carb-y carrots!) and Not Naughty Noodles or Rice (whichever hits my fancy at the time.) BTW – I have tried several of your recipes and while eating your Italien Soup my hubby said, “That Mrs. Criddles is a great cook!” – so I came back to your website to find more. 🙂
