Easy Chicken Soup (THM FP)

Description

A delicious easy flavorful chicken soup!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4– cooked boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 232oz boxes of fat free chicken broth
  • 4 cups of vegetables (you can used canned, frozen or raw. To keep it FP use peas, green beans, zucchini, yellow squash, onion, etc)
  • 3 tsp or more of sea salt or THM Mineral Salt (add to your liking, salt is really important to flavor & a good quality salt is best)
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp of poultry seasoning (or 1 tsp each of Rosemary, Thyme & Sage)
  • 3 tsp of garlic powder
  • 2 tsp of curry powder (add more if you want more curry flavor)
  • 2 tsp turmeric powder (add more if you want more exotic flavor)
  • 1/2 tsp ginger powder
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper
  • 2 tsps. of Bragg’s Organic Sprinkles 24 Herbs, Spices, & Seasonings
  • *Optional- add fresh herbs to the soup. Cilantro or basil or fresh thyme are perfect.

Instructions

  1. Add the broth and seasonings to a pot to simmer.
  2. If adding raw or frozen veggies put in pot right away to cook.
  3. Once they have cooked you can add in your cooked chicken.
  4. If using canned veggies, pour off the juice and place in the soup to heat up.
  5. Allow all ingredients to simmer together on low for 45 minutes.
  6. You can also do this in a crockpot or slow cooker!

Notes

  • To make this an E soup you can add sweet potato, carrots, or corn.
  • To make this an S soup add in a sprinkle of cheese, butter or even heavy cream.
